PLAY-BY-PLAY COVERAGE

This was a tremendous Final Table Championship! The chip leadership changed hands many times. Congratulations to all players!

STARTING STACK: Each player starts with 10000 units. Units are free and have no exchange for cash, prizes, or other things of value. Each player also has one "re-entry" option for another stack of 10000 units, but only after they have gone "all-in" and busted out.

TIME BLINDS GAME COMMENTS
410pm 50/100 Holdem Play begins with 50/100 No-Limit Texas Holdem
945pm 40000/80000 Holdem At 945pm, play is heads-up between Joe Rondon and Diana Migala with blinds at 40,000 / 80,000. Rondon's K/7 holds up to push Migala to the felt. She's forced to use her re-entry token.
1015pm 40000/80000 Omaha In a pivotal Omaha hand, Joe Rondon hits a straight on the river. The Tournament Director's notes read "Migala is crippled", as Rondon's victory now seems inevitable.
1045pm 10000/20000 Omaha After over 6 hours of play, Diana Migala pulls one of the greatest comebacks in tournament poker to win the Fall Tournament of Champions. After losing a vast percentage of her final chipstack she came back one hand at a time to pull even with Joe Rondon. The end came in an Omaha hand when Migala's A-J-10-5 double-suited held up against Rondon's A-A-K-7.  Picture is below.

Congratulations to all players who made the Fall 2006 Tournament of Champions a memorable event!
