TIME | BLINDS | GAME | COMMENTS |
410pm | 50/100 | Holdem | Play begins with 50/100 No-Limit Texas Holdem |
945pm | 40000/80000 | Holdem | At 945pm, play is heads-up between Joe Rondon and Diana Migala with blinds at 40,000 / 80,000. Rondon's K/7 holds up to push Migala to the felt. She's forced to use her re-entry token. |
1015pm | 40000/80000 | Omaha | In a pivotal Omaha hand, Joe Rondon hits a straight on the river. The Tournament Director's notes read "Migala is crippled", as Rondon's victory now seems inevitable. |
1045pm | 10000/20000 | Omaha | After over 6 hours of play, Diana Migala pulls one of the greatest comebacks in tournament poker to win the Fall Tournament of Champions. After losing a vast percentage of her final chipstack she came back one hand at a time to pull even with Joe Rondon. The end came in an Omaha hand when Migala's A-J-10-5 double-suited held up against Rondon's A-A-K-7. Picture is below. |
